Project objective
In an increasingly environmentally conscious world where people are realizing the importance of preserving our planet, there is a lack of effective tools to help people incorporate eco-friendly habits into their daily lives. Many people want to contribute to the well-being of the planet, but feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of the task.
That's where "Grow Life" comes in. It's an app that makes it easier to live a more sustainable lifestyle. You simply log your daily eco-friendly actions, and the app shows you how you're helping the planet. Plus, you'll earn points and rewards to keep you motivated!
Design Process
Research
The project began with a user-centric approach, putting the needs and preferences of our target audience first. To gain valuable insights, we conducted extensive research involving surveys, interviews, and a comparative analysis.
This user-driven research has been instrumental in shaping our project, ensuring it aligns perfectly with our audience's desires and expectations, while allowing us to stand out in a competitive market landscape.

Brading Design
The brand's design is inspired by the works of Matisse and his organic, fluid forms. We've adopted a vibrant and diverse color palette, incorporating deep earthy greens alongside bold, vibrant colors. The irregular shapes and patterns used resonate with the concept of nature and our commitment to the health of our planet.
We've also introduced a charming character called 'Mundito,' whose well-being evolves alongside users as they accumulate points. This character adds a playful and recognizable element to our brand, making the journey toward a more sustainable lifestyle both engaging and enjoyable.

Prototype
The initial Grow Life prototype was designed as an MVP focused on delivering essential features for user engagement. This MVP included a user-friendly introduction, a tutorial to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, and three sustainable actions. However, only one sustainable action was initially available to users, while the others remained locked until users.
In addition, the prototype included a comprehensive report on users' contributions to environmental sustainability, providing them with valuable insight into their positive impact on the planet.
Testing
We performed some user testing and technical validation as integral parts of our project development process. To ensure user satisfaction and functionality, we divided the project into four distinct sprints, each marked by a series of iterations and improvements. These sprints were strategically structured to improve the user experience throughout.
Through rigorous testing and validation, we were able to identify pain points and address technical challenges, resulting in a product that not only meets user needs but also exceeds expectations. This iterative approach allowed us to continually adjust and optimize the platform, creating a final product that offers a seamless and rewarding experience for our users.
Final Prototype
The final Grow Life prototype represents the culmination of four sprints of improvements based on user feedback. It introduces new features such as articles and notifications, an easy-to-use calendar for tracking sustainable actions, and monthly progress reports.
The standout feature is an evolving routine, where users start with one action and can gradually manage up to four as they level up. Users can replace old actions with new ones once they become habits, creating a personalized and adaptable sustainability journey.
