Project objective
Amazon Ads, in collaboration with Environics, commissioned us to create an e-book highlighting the importance of values-based marketing. The Visual Design team created the designs in Figma, which I then transferred to Turtl.
The idea was to make the eBook interactive, so we incorporated animations on the covers and certain sections, added buttons, and included graphics where users could see the data in more detail.
Design Challenge
Challenge 01: Make it legible
The e-book has over 30 pages packed with information and data. How do we make it readable and interactive?
Challenge 02: Mobile first
Diseñar teniendo en cuenta a los usuarios de dispositivos móviles para garantizar que el producto sea fácil de usar y funcional.
Challenge 03: Multiples languages
The e-book must be translated into more than 15 languages and must work without any problems in all of them.
Challenge 04: Interactive data
We wanted users to interact with the data, checking the numbers and charts however they wanted.
Solving the problem
These were the key elements we considered when designing and creating a unique and interactive experience for users reading this ebook, taking into account the platform's limitations and Amazon Ads' visual guidelines.
Brand Guidelines
Implementing branding elements in Turtl was key. We created a style sheet for the development team to follow, including the logo, colors, font scales, and buttons.
Covers
We changed the cover design to ensure the text didn't clash with the image and was responsive.

Readability
We prioritize readability and functionality over fun designs and layouts, realizing that within Turtl, and depending on the language, we might have reading issues.

Multiple languages
We reviewed the different languages, how they were displayed, whether there was any overlap on the pages, and whether it worked correctly on mobile.

Final Prototype
After all the testing and tweaking, this is the final design we launched with Amazon Ads.
